MSSI is seeking to add a Senior Analyst/Logistician/Specialist to our team.  The Senior Level Analyst is responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the task specified in the statement of work contained in the task order.  This labor category requires experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration. This labor category may call for team lead functions to include the distributing of assignments and tracking progress, among a team.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:      Candidate will be responsible for managing data design and modeling, troubleshooting data issues, and developing processes utilizing SAP and the BEx Query designer, Business Intelligence and/or Business Objects, and the Logistics Information Warehouse Depot Production Support Tool (DPST) application. Willl be responsible for design, modeling, and distribution of data products. Responsibilities include: Design and standardize data formats using SAP, SAS, and BEx Query Designer; Document data standards for dissemination to all users of the data; Document ownership and processes to update data sets; Work with teams from all areas of the business to make sure data sets meet the needs of all areas of the business; Managing master data design and modeling; and Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analyst if necessary.

: High School diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in government logistics or related areas.  BS/BA degree and 7 years’ related experience.  MS/MA degree amd 4 years of  related experience. Undergraduate and Graduate degrees must be accredited preferrably  in the field of Computer Science.  Should have demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.  Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms. Experience with LMP, FEDLOG, ILAP, ILTMARS, Logistics Product Data Store (LPDS), LIW Parts Tracker, WebLIDB, and SAS are highly desirable.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD security clearance at the level required. Active security clearance preferred.
